i finally got around to designing this. this is a design for the health bar in TLoC (for Cynder, i intend to make Spyro's very different). so many people did some designs for it, so i tried to put them together, as well as adding some of my own ideas. the first thing you may notice is it's not gold like in the TLoS series. i thought that the silver was better for Cynder, as her spines (which are on the bar) are white, and white looked awful, so i made it silver :XD: also there's two circular bars, if anyone has vision problems like colour blindness you have a good chance of not seeing it, or even if you don't you may not see the white part of the bar too well, the shading was done with layer styles, so i didn't really have any control over that. this is just concept art, the proper one will be made in 3D.
there's a few things you need to know about it too:
1st. this is not the final design. i intend to add some decorations, as most of the people who did designs had some form of decoration.
2nd. the symbol in the center of the circle is just something i came up with on the spot. it is not an official element in the game.
i think that's it.

Oh guy, It's amazing! I'm game developer and now make next Spyro game as indie. I'd like to use this bar in game and write you to autors of GUI. Well, what would you say?) I have screens on PC only, so if you'd lowe watch through them I can load some here. Game will be online and we're going to start it in next year. (It's our second project, main one is space simulator like EVE online and Battlestar Galactica online called The Visker Project)

I imagine there could be a few issues with the light/dark system here; it strikes me as similar to the good/evil setup from Shadow the Hedgehog, or at least it does to me. I imagine there would be somewhat of a more clearly defined choice between light and dark in each level, so you don't end up getting a mixture of each too quickly, and never being able to go to extremes of either.

I don't really know since I'm not in the development of it, but this still looks very good to me! :+fav:
