Cynder-lighting practice by Crystal-Dragon1 Cynder-lighting practice by Crystal-Dragon1
i've been told by several people in the Blender comuntiy that if you want good lighting in pictures, use a spotlight, but they frustrate me to no end, so normaly i use a sun lamp, the only problem with that is that the lighting is very intense, and having more than one light can screw up the scene (lighting wise). to fix this, i use the environment lighting, but i discovered something while working on the demo for TLoC. environment lighting doesn't work in games, so i decided i had better get used to spotlights. this is a bit of practice, as well as some scene-composing practice. i'm going to upoad two other versions of this pic: Cynder in her dark form and Cynder in her light form.
Cynder belongs to activition
TLoC to me
*Edit* i changed her eyes and the lighting just a bit

Wow. She looks like she just came out of the first game. Only she's good not evil. As for your lighting problem well. It seems in Blender I can't make a character but lighting I can do. I don't know how that works.

Thanks!
that's not uncommon actually, in major animation and game companies, they often have workers who focus only on the lighting of a scene.
