OMG i'm so proud of this so far!
this model of Crystal has a total of 224,076 vertices (with the subsurface modifier applied) and it's not even finished yet.
i do feel a bit guilty about working on her though because i owe a couple of people animations (which are still being worked on), i am helping with the models in CotBF (which Crystal is featuring in as an extra
) and i also owe someone a short story from a while back as well. so i really shouldn't be working on her, but i couldn't help it
the main reason i'm proud of her though is that i forced myself to work on the little details i HATE doing or just forget about like the feet and flight-hand (the part of the wing where all the long skinny finger things join to, i don't think that's what it's really called, but I've always called it that
). i also tried my hardest to put some muscles definition into Crystal, particularly around the limbs, something i can't remember doing before.
but one thing i am a little peeved about is that she looks kind of like a guy. i don't want that, so can someone suggest any way i can make her look more feminine without taking away muscle tone or giving her boobs? i'm looking at changing something in her face but i just don't know what :/
and those hands! ew, they just look terrible
Crystal and the model of her belongs to me
