DSC chapter 1 page 4
The Dragon Story commic is based on a twelve book long series i wrote as a kid. all twelve have been compressed into one (not that hard, they were only 10 pages long at the most) and i wanted to bring these characters back to life.
The Dragon Story Chronicles is the Story of Mike and his mate Lilly who live on the Island of Dralik. their peaceful lives are turned upside down when Lilly's past catches up with her and puts her, Mike, their friends and their soon-to-hatch eggs in danger. but among the chaos, Mike discovers he is not an ordinary dragon, and his family and friend's are counting on him to save them.
progress: the first panel of page 5 has been completed, however the rest are being sketched

hey everyone! i'm back...again sorry about yet another disappearance, and i'm sorry to say that there might be another one coming soon. but anyway. as some of you know, i was away competing in the National Junior Wheelchair Basketball tournament (a.k.a the Keven Coombs Cup) this week and it was a blast! it's by far the longest comp i've ever competed in (5 days with 2-3 games each day, which run for about 2 hours each) but it was heaps of fun. my team, the NSW jrs, came fourth out of five teams, so it wasn't the best result but it's not too bad. all the teams were pretty nice as well (except one, but i won't say who) which is pretty surprising at such a high level in sport. and we also were told, only five minutes before the game that it was being broadcast live over the stadium's website, and that we should tell our families and friends, but it was also posted on Youtube if anyone wants to take a look:
I'm number 8 on the light blue team (the girl with her hair in a bun). lol, just as a little side note, they mention where i'm from, but they actually got it wrong lol. I get on court at about 23:00mins (roughly) this game is pretty short, the game itself only goes about 1hr. just a few things about this video before you watch it- the audio is not very good, and at the start there's a male and a female voice talking at once, listen to the guy, not the girl. -the game itself doesn't actually start until 5:20mins, everything before that is introducing the teams and warm-ups. -the commentators explain a lot of the language used in the game, like the point system and stuff like that. -they kept pronouncing Jarred and Jess's surnames wrong lol. -it says in the video title 'U18' (under 18's) but it's actually under 23's, 18's is the able-bodied players. and lastly, for some reason, even though we are in the light blue singlets, we are the dark team on the scoreboard I know not many of you like sport, but i thought i might post this up anyway if anyone dose watch it (or part of it) and has any questions, do not hesitate to ask. it's so weird, I watched part of it before i posted it, but i've never seen a recording of a game i've played in before, now that i have i can see all those things i'm doing that i can never figure out why i get in trouble with, now i can XD please read this: ok, my coach was talking to me this week about getting a new wheelchair to play in. i don't know if you can see it, but the chair I use now is way too big for me and i slide around in it a lot, even when i'm strapped into it. the reason i'm saying this, is because new chairs are not cheep, that one i use in this video was almost $2500(AUD) and that's a pretty basic chair (but it lasted me a long time). the ones my coach wants me to look at are top-of-the-line sort of things. i don't even know where to start on how much i would pay for one of them, so i'll have to do fundraisers to get the money. if i did some fundraising through Deviantart, would you guys help me out? be aware this would mean money, not DA points. if i'm lucky, next year i get to go and play over in Japan with the under 25's womens team, so i'd like to have a better chair when i go. i'll let you guys know when i'm going to start fundraising, I have to talk to one of my other coaches first, i won't make a decision without first talking to him (he built the chair i have now, when i first stated playing).
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! (i'm slowly making my way through comments again lol)
